“I don’t want to!”

“Look at the clock. It’s time to get up.”

“No, it’s too early.”

“Is the toddler getting up?”

“It is trying to, but it can’t.”

“When are you going to get up?”

“In a minute.”

“Get out of bed!”

“I don’t want to!”

“Don’t rub your eyes!”

“Why not?”

“Granny, have you gotten up?”

“No, I have just sat up.”

“Why are you rubbing your neck?”

“It is numb.”

“Stretch in bed!”

“I’m stretching.”

“Are you alright now?”

“Yes, I am.”

“Have you gotten up?”

“Yes, I have. I feel great!”



“Don’t jump on the bed!”

“I won’t anymore.”



“Make the bed.”

“I’ve made it.”
